College and career readiness courses offer students the broad and flexible skill set required to pursue and excel in post-high school education, training and work. The Academic Challenge Workshop and Future Prep course help students develop core career ready competencies - critical literacy, numeracy, situational problem-solving, communication, collaboration, information management and creativity. Sophomore students refine these skills through coursework in strategic innovation, project management and computer science. Junior and senior students focus their college and career pathways through coursework in applied social sciences, corporate responsibility, professional writing, mechatronics, finance and workshop courses focused on preparing for college and apprenticeship research and application processes.
