Arts, Community, and Real-World Learning Hosted by: Manchester Craftsmen Guild

Tuesday, May 22, 2018 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Celebrating 50 years in operation, the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild Youth & Arts program offers high school students of any background the opportunity to refine their art skills in a safe and productive after-school environment. Courses in ceramics, digital, design, and photography studios are offered.

Join us to learn how three unique organizations–Nazareth College and Career Prep, Manchester Academic Charter School, and Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild–collaborate to address complex educational challenges and make real-world learning experiences accessible to traditionally marginalized youth. Learn about this progressive model, view student work, make and take art, and enjoy refreshments at Bill Strickland’s Manchester Bidwell Corporation.

This event has a Google Hangouts video call. Join: https://hangouts.google.com/hangouts/_/hfa-pgh.org/mahoy-emily?hceid=aGZhLXBnaC5vcmdfY29kc29nczVyMWcwaTluaXVhMmkzbmZ0cXNAZ3JvdXAuY2FsZW5kYXIuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbQ.606062helb3b056nrgggjlksjf&hs=121
