Nazareth Prep Student Helps Readers with Disabilities At Carnegie Library

Naz Prep student Ronnie has put his talents and interests to use for the Carnegie Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. 

As an intern, Ronnie is engaged in reading books in the development of audiobooks. Ronnie is involved in reading and editing each project. The first book Ronnie read is Samurai Santa. The audio book is registered with the Library of Congress. 

"Ronnie has been a valuable asset to our internship program ad is a hard and dedicated worker" said intern supervisor Mark Sachon. "He's been more than great."

The Nazareth Prep internship program gives our students the rare opportunity to learn real-world skills working in some of Pittsburgh's top companies. The program partners with over 100 local businesses and non-profits. Our corporate partners work with NCCP students to enhance their talents while providing assistance to offset the cost of tuition.
