Nazareth Prep recognized six outstanding high school students with $5,000 scholarships. The scholarships, to be used for college education, technical training and apprenticeship support, were awarded at the Academy’s annual St. Joseph the Worker Luncheon, held on May 25 at Rivertowne Brewing Hall of Fame Club. Students at Nazareth Prep were recently given the opportunity to pitch to members of the Poise Foundation on why they should receive a grant to help them fund their upcoming Historic Black College and Universities (HBCU) tour on April 7th. Today, the Nazareth Prep students received their grant for $4000 from members of the Poise Foundation followed by a breakfast with the members.
