With the winter sports seasons wrapping up, it's time to prepare for spring sports and activities!
Nazareth College and Career Prep will be offering baseball and softball along with club teams for boys volleyball and boys and girls hockey. The Spring athletic season will begin Monday, February 20, 2017 with an open gym schedule which will include preseason conditioning that will be a key part in our successful spring seasons.
The first official day of the WPIAL/PIAA season is not until March 6, 2017, and all student-athletes who wish to participate in athletics at NCCP must have a current CIPPE physical indicating that they are cleared to participate. Without a current physical and approval by the Director of Athletics or Principal , he/she will not be permitted to practice or compete. All forms must be completed and returned before the first day of practice. All returning student-athletes must complete section 7 of the CIPPE Form before the first day of practice.
Other activities taking part on the NCCP campus include "Judo for Life" and "Intro to Dancing." You will not need a physical to take part in either of these programs. Both activities are seven weeks long and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. There is a small fee required to participate in these programs.
With spring right around the corner, it's a perfect time to get active and engage in the extracurricular activities taking place on campus.
