Help Nazareth Prep students develop confidence and a positive attitude towards learning. Academic Coaches work with faculty to identify the tasks, projects and academic standards where students need support. You will work with the students on a bi-weekly or weekly basis to further develop their writing, math, science, technology, and foreign language skills. Time commitment for an Academic Coach is 6-8 hours per month.
Offer guidance and motivation to Academy students to help them create short and long term career goals. Under the direction of college counseling, mentors help students explore different career options, makes connections for job shadowing and industry specific interviews, introduce students to networking events, career fairs and other opportunities that help students develop career knowledge and skills.
Work with a small group of Nazareth Prep students and share your expertise. Topics may include financial independence, online banking, professional etiquette, social skills, ‘what not to wear’, college preparation, choosing the right college, etc. You tell us your interest and expertise and we will work with you to develop a workshop to share your knowledge. If you're interested in leading a workshop, contact Dr. Lisa Abel-Palmieri
